My Life In Music: You and Tequila
January 6, 2013 in Family
Thankfully, tequila doesn’t make me crazy anymore; considering I haven’t had a single alcoholic beverage in almost four years. The clarity I have for life today is so far from [what seems like] a few short years ago. My husband still makes me crazy though, but I bet you already knew that… after all, he is the one driving in the banner!
This has to be one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. Every part of it, from the lyrics to the musical arrangement, is magnificent to me…
My son was in pretty big trouble yesterday. He was hiding out in his room waiting for me to call him in for our “discussion”. What does he do while he waited? Started playing this on his guitar. How can you be upset with a kid who can play something so beautiful for you? – he knows me so well. It is amazing what your children pick up.
What does your children do to get themselves out of trouble?

My daughter will start kissing my cheek and telling me over and over she loves. me

Awww, that’s sweet of your son to play the song for you, even if he did do it to get out of trouble! My son tells me I’m the best mom ever to get out of trouble. He basically pours on the sweet talk!

My son is only two so he hasn’t mastered the art of getting out of trouble…but he knows how to be cute and adorable, so sometimes that works in his favor! Haha

My daughter has started telling me “accidents happen” whenever she spills something. She says it in the sweetest, cutest little voice so it’s hard to be mad at her.

Awe… You are right, regardless if he was using it to get out of trouble or not, the one thing he proved was he knows his mom. That is awesome!
